Why Certifications Matter in International Plywood Trade
In international plywood trade, certifications are not optional — they are market entry requirements. Without proper certification, your shipment may face customs holds, import refusal, or buyer rejection at inspection.
The regulatory environment is growing stricter. The EU's Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), effective December 2025, requires full supply chain traceability for all timber products. The US EPA's TSCA Title VI mandates third-party emission testing. Australia's AS 6669 sets specific mechanical standards for formwork plywood.
HCPLY invests in comprehensive certification across all major markets so that your supply chain remains compliant and uninterrupted. When regulations change, our certifications are updated proactively — not reactively.
FAQ
Certification Questions
Common questions from buyers about certifications, compliance documentation, and independent verification.
Still have questions?
Our export team responds within 24 hours. Contact us via WhatsApp or email for immediate assistance.
Yes. Contact our sales team and we will provide verified digital copies of all relevant certificates within 24 hours. Physical certificates are available for inspection during factory visits.
Are all HCPLY products FSC certified?
FSC-certified plywood is available on request. FSC orders require advance booking to allocate FSC-certified raw materials. Inform us of your FSC requirement at the quotation stage.
Does HCPLY plywood meet E0 or E1 emission standards?
Our plywood is manufactured to E1 emission standards by default. E0 (ultra-low emission) and CARB P2 compliant plywood is available on request for projects requiring stricter formaldehyde limits.
How can I verify HCPLY's certifications independently?
FSC certificates can be verified on search.fsc.org. CARB P2 certificates carry QR codes for online validation through ICTT. CE certificates are traceable through Istituto Giordano. We provide all reference numbers for independent verification upon request.
Is HCPLY compliant with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)?
Yes. We maintain full supply chain traceability including plantation geolocation data, species identification, and risk assessments. Due diligence documentation is prepared for every EU-bound shipment.
What third-party testing labs do you work with?
Our primary testing partner is SGS (Vietnam and Guangzhou branches). We also work with Bureau Veritas, Intertek, and client-nominated laboratories. Test reports for mechanical properties, emission levels, and anti-slip performance are available on request.
Can I nominate my own testing laboratory?
Absolutely. We regularly accommodate buyer-nominated labs and inspection agencies. Samples can be shipped directly to your chosen laboratory, or testing can be arranged at our facility under third-party supervision.
